Beauty Mark Education EditionBeauty Mark - Educational Edition

Since its debut, Beauty Mark has received a tremendous response from people across the United States. As a result, there has been an outpouring of requests to make the film available to learning institutions, and the like.

In response, we have partnered with Media Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that produces and distributes documentary films and other educational resources to inspire critical reflection on the social, political, and cultural impact of American mass media, to create a shorter version of the film.

The 50-minute Educational Edition of Beauty Mark conveys all the same material as the full-length film, but is edited for use in a classroom setting and to conform to curricular needs. It also has a special Bonus Feature of Diane Israel talking in greater detail about her road to recovery.
